Group retreats

Design your team's CE retreat

Your destination, your CE topic, your pace. Tell us what your group wants and we'll make it happen.

For practice teams, study clubs, associations and groups of colleagues of 8 or more. Pick what you'd love in a few quick steps, and within 3 business days we'll send a first itinerary idea and price range. Free, no commitment.

Step 1 of 6: Your group

Who's coming?

Who's in the group?

Pick all that apply.

How it works

  1. Tell us what you want. Destination, CE hours and topic, lodging, wellness, dates and budget.
  2. Get a proposal. Within 3 business days: a draft itinerary, speaker options and a per-person price range.
  3. Shape it together. Adjust anything until it's right for your group.
  4. Travel. We handle lodging, CE, excursions and wellness. Your team just shows up.

Why teams choose a group retreat

  • A retention perk people talk about. CE your practice pays for can be tax-free to your team, and it builds skills you get back in the clinic.
  • CE that fits your caseload. Pick the topic, from emergency medicine to dentistry to communication.
  • Time together away from the clinic. The best team building happens over a long dinner somewhere beautiful.

Group retreat questions

Can Vet Passport plan a private CE trip for our practice?

Yes. Practice teams, study clubs, associations and groups of colleagues can design a private CE and wellness retreat for 8 or more people. Tell us the destination, CE topic, wellness and dates you want, and we'll send an itinerary idea and price range within 3 business days.

Is the CE RACE-approved on a custom group trip?

We plan RACE-approved CE through our RACE-approved partner. Tell us the topic or specialty your team needs, and we'll match a qualified speaker.

How many people do we need?

Custom group trips start at 8 people. There's no upper limit; larger groups can be split across sessions or dates.

Can partners and family come?

Yes. Partners and friends join on an Explorer ticket: everything except the CE sessions.

Can our practice pay for the trip and deduct it?

Often, yes. CE a practice pays for its employees is generally a deductible business expense and can be tax-free to employees as a working condition fringe benefit. See do veterinary practices get a tax break for paying for employee CE? and confirm with your accountant.

Does requesting a proposal cost anything?

No. Requesting a proposal is free and there's no commitment. You'll get an itinerary idea and price range, and only pay if you decide to book.
