Short answer: the Vet Passport quiz is a free, 8-question quiz that takes about a minute. It turns your answers into a passport type (your travel style), your two best-matched CE trips with a match score, and a dream trip we keep on file for you. You don't need an email address to see your results. Take the quiz.
The 8 questions
| # | Question | What you pick from |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | I'm a… | Veterinarian, vet tech, assistant, practice manager, client care, animal care, retired vet, student, animal lover or other |
| 2 | Pick your perfect afternoon | Tracking wildlife, long lunch and wine, a summit hike, beach and snorkel, markets and temples, or a big night out |
| 3 | How active? | Easy, moderate or very active |
| 4 | Who's coming? | Just me, partner, friend, or family with kids |
| 5 | When can you go? | Winter, spring, summer or fall (pick all that work) |
| 6 | Budget per person, before flights | Under $2,000, $2,000 to $5,000, $5,000 to $9,000, or $9,000+ |
| 7 | CE topic you'd love | Twelve specialties, from wildlife and exotics to dentistry, ophthalmology and feline medicine, or "No CE for me" |
| 8 | Dream destination | A region of the world, or type your own (for example, a specific country or experience) |
What you get
- Your passport type. One of seven travel styles, with a one-line description and a short summary of how you like to travel. You can share your type as an image card.
- Your best-matched trips. The two Vet Passport trips that fit you best, each with its dates, CE hours, price and a match score out of 100.
- Your dream trip. Your dream destination, the seasons you can travel and who's coming with you. When we add a trip that matches it, you hear first.
The seven passport types
- The Wild One: wildlife first, active days, big experiences.
- The Bon Vivant: long lunches, good wine, and a story behind every dish.
- The Trailblazer: summits, trails, and the view you earned.
- The Weekender: short flights, full days, back by Monday.
- The Culture Seeker: markets, temples, and places that change how you see things.
- The Celebrator: music, art, and the big night out.
- The Family Explorer: CE for you, adventures for the whole crew.
How matching works, in plain words
Each answer adds points to one or more travel styles. A wildlife afternoon points strongly toward The Wild One; a long lunch points toward The Bon Vivant; family with kids points toward The Family Explorer. Your passport type is the style with the most points.
Then every trip gets a match score out of 100, built from five things:
- Style fit counts most: how closely the trip's style lines up with your answers.
- Budget: whether the CE Traveler price falls inside the range you picked. Trips under your range still score well.
- Season: whether the trip runs in a season you said you can travel.
- Activity: how close the trip's pace is to the activity level you chose.
- CE topic: whether the trip's specialty matches the topic you'd love.
Your two highest-scoring trips show up as your matches. There are no right or wrong answers, and you can retake the quiz anytime.
