Common questions
Do international CE trips count toward my state license?
RACE-approved CE is accepted by most US state veterinary boards, including when it's earned abroad. Boards set their own limits, for example on interactive versus non-interactive hours, so check your board's rules before you book.
Can I use my CE allowance for a CE trip?
Yes. Many practices allow CE allowances for travel CE when the receipt lists the CE value separately. Vet Passport receipts do, and we provide a letter template for your practice manager.
Is there veterinary CE in Brazil in 2027?
Yes. Rio New Year's Eve: Art & Celebration runs Dec 27, 2027 – Jan 2, 2028 in Rio de Janeiro, with 15 RACE-approved CE hours in Emergency & Critical Care, from $12,750.
